Quitting Wikipedia
I decided to leave Wikipedia. There are a variety of reasons for this, but the main one is that the idea of an encyclopedia that anyone can edit invites all sorts of mischief which takes a great deal of effort to defend against. It's not something I consider to be worth anyone's time, considering there are good encyclopedias out there for people to read. It's a nice idea, but is flawed on its face.
But there's also a particular reason which caused me to actually make the decision to leave - Wikipedia's obsession with keeping a "neutral point of view" led to a situation where I would have been forced to accept something which was against my Faith to accept. I don't want to go into details, but people who are Bahá'ís and have been on Wikipedia probably know what I'm talking about.
Between this and Shoryuken, my online life seems to be changing every day.
